ETHICS MANIFESTO

By Humberto Vallejo & Maia Apaolaza

We feel PASSION for what we do and what we are inspired in. Each collection represents a feeling or a theme that has somehow touched us. We find the need to research it, interpret it and then share it.

To make garments that last a long time and turn out to be a good investment we think that the
GOOD QUALITY of the fabric, as well as the workmanship, pattern cutting, detailing and customer service are vital.

We want people to know more about the work we do and what entails to make a garment. We mean to show with total
TRANSPARENCY the parts of the process that perhaps were unknown, but will help the consumer to be more informed and know what to choose with more information.

New fashion brands are born every day, but we believe that having worked in different companies of the industry for over ten years make our
EXPERIENCE very valuable in the development of both the business and the product.

Even if we don’t want sustainability to become a marketing strategy, we are totally committed to be as conscious as possible to care for our resources and
CLOSE THE CIRCLE. Among other things, when our clients feel they don’t want to use our styles any longer, we invite them to give them back to us so we can give them a new life.

About Us

After ten years of working in the fashion industry we realised the quality had been declining year by year and that is why we decided to start fresh on our own.

Making good quality clothes that will last with the aim to be as sustainable and transparent as possible.

Our pieces are made for people who want to invest in garments that make them feel special, and who also value the quality as well as the work behind each piece.

Our clients have the chance to purchase our items, if they want a long lasting wardrobe essential, or to rent them if all they want is the trend of the season.

LAZA Clothing, to dress well made simple.

Values

Closing the circle

Sustainability is currently in fashion, which should be a good thing, but sadly loads of businesses are starting to use it exclusively as a marketing strategy.

We mean to be as sustainable as possible, knowing that starting a fashion brand and producing new garments all in all is against the concept as a whole.

We give the opportunity to RENT our clothes instead of purchasing them, helping the idea of sharing instead of owning.

Our aim is to also CLOSE THE CIRCLE and give our clients a mean to give our product back to us so we can re-use or upcycle giving it a second life.

We want to consume as little as possible, that is why we use only one fabric for all our collection, CUPRO, made of recycled cellulose. We purchase it from the supplier in Italy that weaves it as well as prints it, REDUCING OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT as much as possible.

One of our main aims is to keep learning about sustainability, we want to be better.
